Abstract We consider the behavior of solutions to the Cauchy problem for a semilinear parabolic equation with supercritical nonlinearity. It is known that any slow algebraic rate appears as rate of convergence to regular steady states for some solutions. Now we show that this convergence takes place with arbitrarily slow rates which are slower than any algebraic rate, if the initial data are chosen suitably.
